Shown successfully at halter (very large classes) in 1987, broke to ride, sweet disposition. Kaiyanka has produced 3 purebred foals and should still be fertile.
This mare was given to me (Judy Bleifus Barrick) on March 8, 2007, when I purchased her pure Polish ´pasture buddy´, GW Silver Essence. She was thin, but now she is in beautiful shape, at 22, July 17, 2007. She´s been a show mare at halter (placed and won) and a 4-H project horse in the past and was stabled at Paragon Arabians and once owned by Norman Harrower III, California. Now she lives in rural Oregon City, OR. She was bred by Virginia Baldwin, formerly Mrs. Mark Fagerlin, when they owned Fallen Leaf Arabians, Santa Maria, CA.
Fallen Leaf Arabians owned the grey stallion, Kaiyoum, first foal sired by 1973 U.S. National Champion Stallion, 1976 Canadian National Champion Stallion, 1976 U.S. National Champion Western Pleasure, 1976 Canadian National Champion Western Pleasure and 1993 Legion of Masters, the famous Khemosabi.
Khemo is probably THE most famous Arabian horse who lived, to be about 32 or 33 years of age and looked more beautiful when he got older. Khemo was owned by Ruth & Bert Husband and bred by them. He had a lot of white (frowned upon in prior days) so it was lucky he remained a stallion. His dam was the show mare, Jurneeka++ (Fadjur x Fadneeka), often shown in performance by son, Paul Husband.
