25% Driftwood (2X), 18.75% Joe Hancock (2X) Sired by Cibecue Roan an Arena ROM and High Point Roping Stallion, who sired AQHA Superior and show ROM as well as a Youth High Point Working Cow Horse and an AQHA Youth World Champion Western Riding gelding. Roan Prairie was used as a pickup horse at pro rodeos such as Cheyenne. Acquired by Roy Cleveland of NE (a 50 year breeder) when he was 18 years old, based on the reputation of the geldings he sired. He was best known for his only siring son, the incomparable, High Rolling Roany.
