Daniel started his showing career as a foal but came to the limelight as a yearling. His bright chestnut colour and four white socks along with his breathtaking action took the eye of most judges. He was shown with great success both in England and Wales until He left his career in the showring at the young age of 14 years.In 1988 he won the George Prince of Wales Trophy for the Champion Welsh Cob at the Royal Welsh. He was male champion in 1986 and 1989 also. In 1987 he was Supreme Champion at the Three Counties Show, Malvern. He represented the show at the Horse of the Year Show in the Lloyds in hand champion.He has also won the WPCS sire ratings on several occasions. Sadly Daniel died in 2005 and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. http://www.rainhillwelsh
