Foaled 1837 in the property of Dr. Peter Nave (1770-1860) in his farm of Jessamine County; was never trained, but His Story: Wallace's Monthly, March 1877, p.177/178, of Dr. med. vet. Joseph Ewing Nave (1828- died 1893/Chicago-World's Fair, by heart attack, burr. Maple Grove Cemetery, Nickolasville), also trotting horse trainer, Nicolasville, Kentucky - youngest son of Dr. Peter Nave;
