Ben Springer (LaJunta, CO), Jim Like (Rocky Ford, CO), & Jim Boyle (North Platte, NE) hauled him to RCA (Rodeo Cowboys Association) in late forties & early fifties, there he was used as calf roping & bulldogging horse, then at home as ranch & stud horse. Ranch foreman trained race horses at Trinidad, CO & would run young horses against him, many of which he could outrun.
