Croton Oil was foaled in 1955 and was out of Randle’s Lady, a daughter of the Thoroughbred stallion Doc Horn. Croton Oil made five starts and won one race. He earned a Racing Register of Merit and was rated AA.
Croton Oil went on to sire 373 AQHA registered foals. He was a leading sire of AQHA Champions. Envoy, Hornswoggle, Montleon, Rinski, Utopian and Wallaby were some of his most noteworthy sons.
