He stood at the King Ranch where he sired 288 Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse foals. His best starter, Brigand, was a Thoroughbred gelding that ran almost exclusively against Quarter Horse company. Brigand won 42 races and set or equaled seven track records. Although he was a Thoroughbred, Brigand was named the Quarter Running World Champion Gelding in 1952, 1953 and 1954.
