Foaled January 1906 An Abayyah-Sharakiyah, her sire a Hamdani Simri that the Anazeh refused to put a price on. Haffia’s dam *Abeyah was in foal to the Hamdani Simri when she came to the stables of Akmet Haffez in Aleppo, Syria and Haffia was born there in January 1906. Left behind during the Davenport Expedition, Haffia was a parting gift by Akmet Haffez for Davenports young son, Homer Clyde Foundress of a highly influential dam line.
