1906 imported into USA by Homer Davenport, Morris Plains, New Jersey (28th August shipped from Alexandria, Egypt; 18th October arrived in New York

HAMRAH sired 53 purebred registered Arabian foals from 1909 to 1924 (19 colts and 34 fillies)

He was known for his immense power, fine action under saddle at the gallop, fast running speed, and his very good disposition

1924 John Winant retired HAMRAH with fellow WWI pilot and noted stockman, Phillip G Smith, Northern California where he was bred to the local mares.
