Owned by: C. V. Carpenter, Talona, IL; Tom A Gay, Menard, TX.; James Owen(Spring 1882), she was given to Sam Watkins in 1882.
A speedster who was raced from her home state of Kentucky to Texas and back to Illinois, where she eventually was given to Watkins.
She proved to be as good a broodmare as she was a runner; she was the dam of the great mares Kitty Menard (1872) by Marion, Kittie Watkins (1877) by Jack Traveler, Bird by Jack Traveler, and Nora M-who was an accomplished half-miler that capped her racing career by producing Peter McCue.
