Breeder: Messrs. Boardman (AL) Owner: Linnaeus Coch/David Heinsohn AKA "Miss Foote" A small mare, standing only 14.2 hands, but described by turf historian William Robertson as "the scourge of males throughout the Midwest." Raced in the early 1840s. Her most notable feat was winning a "free-for-all" race of one-mile heats which went seven heats before being decided. Noted as running "fast 4mi heats" at 3yo in 1842 (check foaling year). "This mare was owned in Texas, and had some foals, but we cannot ascertain what they are." [ASB ii:96]
