Familie: T1C Polarfahrt (Hauptgestüt Trakehnen)
POLARSCHNEE was born at the famous Rantazu Stud in 1971, passed his Selection Test in 1973 and his Performance test in 1974. Polarschnee was then used for stud purposes only until he was exported to Australia in 1982, where he started a very successful career in showjumping and eventing. He proved his class by upgrading within two and a half years to A Grade until a paddock injury ended his career in 1984. Polarschnee is sire of Jagermeister II, Andrew Nicholson's mount. Polarschnee's sire line GAZAL-GAZAL VII is known for consistently producing jumping potential. Imported to Australia in 1980 by Walter Sauer. Exported to New Zealand in 1984.
