He was a black, stood 14.3, weighed about 1100, he wasn't a draft type, he was light boned, but a registered Percheron.
Ralph Wilson also is listed as owner of a Percheron named Indigene, some have speculated this might be the same horse, although it seems highly unlikely he would not have used the horse's registered name if it had one. That horse is also somewhat younger than this one is estimated to be.
